This is why I Love Vermont…
This is our Headline for today:
VERMONT EYES TO BECOME THE FIRST SINGLE PAYER SYSTEM STATE

“Moving away from a fee-for-service model that rewards providers for the quantity of services provided, as opposed to the quality of care provided, is key, Shumlin said, to curbing costs in a $5 billion annually industry that now accounts for about one-fifth of the state’s gross domestic product.”

What? you say! Rewarded for Quantity? Are you shocked at that? Yes, that is how today’s For Profit Insurance Companies work. Doctors are only compensated for quantity, NOT quality so there is currently NO incentive for curing you. They are compensated heavily by drug companies too so they push their drugs on you.

Getting the Corporate Boardroom and their Golden Pay Packages out of our Health Care system will help restore the Oath the Doctors took and allow us to return to Quality Health Care.

It’s nice to live in a State that is really aligned with your ideals and Vermont meets everyone of mine. Now if it only had a ocean.
