Newport Oregon 2019
I’d been to Newport twice before. The first time was back in 2013 when I began blogging under LifeWithLarry while traveling in a 1978 VW Bus…If you get a chance to stop in Newport, OR I highly recommend it. It is both a touristy ocean village and a working fishing village. Living here for a month, watching the fishing and sailboats come in and out of the harbor was wonderful.

Mounting a Vancompass Rear Differential Skid Plate and Hellwig 7760 Anti Sway Bar to a 2018 Ford Transit T-250…I soon realized that in 2018, Ford must have added a Mass Dampener to the Rear Diff. I was advised to simply remove it, but given the long history these Transits have with driveshaft issues – finally resolved in 2018, I didn’t want to upset anything.
